Ballina - any info ?

Hi guys,

Going to Ballina (lakes caravan park) 31st March- 1st apr - just the weekend.

A friend from work as well as my missus and myself are heading down for the weekend, both of us have 4.4m quintrex tinnies with 25hp.

Haven't been down that far since I was a kid (live in Bris Vegas) and would like some info on some good spots and some info on what type of rigs/techniques work well down there at this time, I suppose also what type of fish are good to target at this time.

Not looking for secret spots;D

Just some general directions and tips.

given the weather, some protected areas as well as good weather areas would be great.

Hi Maxi,

I've been pretty busy taming my new steed, that & the pretty average conditions have mostly kept us at home,
however, we were out a couple of weeks back & had a top day on the 48s with plenty of good pearlies on offer, also good mowies & snaps.
Worked out pretty good for us as it was a comp day & we finished up with 52 fish between 3 of us, yehaaa.
