Finaly got out

Finaly got to put the boat in.It was still a bit choppy but managed to get out to the Family group islands[Dunk Island] with some friends who are up from Hervey Bay.Anchored of Bedarra island and managed a nice feed of sweetlip and a nice tusk fish.All in all it was a good day,might try and do it again today:D .

well done major, gee it's a tuff life mate cruzin' round the islands. what were the fish biting on up there?

Squid,pillies and mullet flesh.My friend dropped a nice trout bringing it into the boat and we let a nice long finned snapper go not knowing the size.Nice tropical islands in close here launch on the beach next road over,nice and handy.

I have to come up soon. While Townsville fishing is OK........I need to try my luck land-based in Mission beach.
