Hi All,

Headed out with fellow ausfisher Mark saturday morning for a hot little session once again on the mud island squire population. Was out there at 5 am and by 6.30 it looked like we would bag out on squires so the decision was made to keep only those above 40cm. Ended up with keeping 7 over 40cm although the biggest was probably only around 45cm, let 6 go bewteen 36cm and 39cm. One of the best soft plastic sessions we have had.

A lot more legal squire as opposed to last week but not as many big bust offs. Just 2 this time and both were at the leader. Good to catch up with Jimmy (Seduction) and Chris.

Cheers craig

Well done on the catch. what side of mud were you fishing and what plastic did the damage?

hey tinn

Caught most north west side. I dont really think it mattered what plastic was used as they were smashing whatever we threw at them. although we caught quite a few on the lime tiger 4" minnow (gulp) as well as the atomic shrimp. Just used the 1/8 jig heads with a 2/0 hook

cheers

Craig

PS I took photos of the catch but will have to find some other way of attaching them as only have a work computer at moment:-X
