Bannanna Prawns

Hi guys,
Heard recently that the rain in recent weeks may have started the prawn run. I have just brought a cast net and wouldnt mind trying to get myself a feed. As a newcomer to the Gold Coast i have no idea where to get them and was hoping a local could help me out.

mate i would get a scoop net and run it through the weed beds round crab is basically fishing on the goldcoast has been done to death unless you go out to the reefs or travel to logan under the powerlines join the yellow raincoaters good luck
