Hi Folks,

I have the pleasure of owing one of Col's Fisher Boats which he and his crew built for me 2 years ago, have made a few trips to the reef east of Mackay, the average round trip is about 500kms - 600kms, so "Woopi Girl " is good for the distances and the fishing is great.

The big plan in the next 2 years is to go to the Kimberley Coast with a couple of mates _ living off the land so to speak.

The boat and trailer weights in at 3.5t on the road fullly loaded and the tow truck is a F250 7.3 lt diesel.
So that is the serinerio My plan is to put the boat in at Derby, lockup the truck and trailer and spend the next 6 weeks on the water.

So is anyone out there in ceyber space can offer some advise I'm willing to listen
on what to take - etc, "Help"

Tight lines

Mate sounds great!!
Only suggestrioin would be to make sure the truck is somwhere secure.otherwise it could go missing!!!
Maybee the local garage/caravan park or even the police station .
Take plenty of lures and strong trebbles/rings
The fishing is great i believe.
we were land based so couldnt go outside but there are plenty of places to go
Good luck..
PS i.d consider chucking it in at Timber creek/Victoria river and chasing some barra
you can go right out to mouth i believe.
Another option is to go to broome and out from there. but i guess u would cover more unfished water from Derby
Maybee Malcolm Douglas would give u a few pointers He has a croc farm somewhere over there.
Good Luck
