Well the plan was Custaro and myself to head to Peel today but i got the call yesterday Clay couldn't make it. I think he was resting at Chateau le bow wow. So i was going to take my girlfriend out to Wello for a sp session but she pulled the pin this morn, damn what is going on i thought. Not put off i was going by myself at least i can't pull the pin on myself.

Hit Wello a tad late but was on the water by 8thert and started throwing some sp's about only got one hit no hook up. That was canned and i drowned some Bonito and Pillies plenty undersized Grassies and Moses managed 2 keepers. The wind was slowly getting stronger so pulled the pin as i was by myself (thinking ramp hmmm).

Got back to the ramp got out of the boat and it was starting to look like Queen st so i was pondering my next move as to get boat on the trailer without buggering up the ramp for others when this bloke came down and asked if i needed a hand sure mate thanx very much was the reply. Got boat on trailer no dramas thanx to that chap. It's good to see some people still lend a hand.

I think i need a bit more practice on the sp's next time you Squire next time.

Dave.

Keep at it mate i'm sure those big squire aren't too far away.
Have you thought about using the Manly boat ramp?
More sheltered if you are fishing solo.

Dogsbody, was it you in the quinny runabout, 475 I think?
IF so I was the guy who held your boat whilst I waited the mrs to bring my trailer over from Wynnum, engine decided it didnt want to go :( Thanks to the bloke and his Mrs for giving me a tow in, the paddeling wasnt going too well .
At manly if the tide isnt high there is a sandy section you can pull your boat up on.
Send me a PM if you need a decky next time;)

The magnet could be a big seller amongst fisher folk, must look into it.
