hi all have any of you got a real good anchor tube .or other invention to help with reef or cqr bashing about on my pride and joy?any ideas would be appreciated and may help others as well thanks. gary.

i had a tinnie and i just used a bit of 100mm pvc pipe but im thinking you might want something looking a bit nicer, i have seen stainless tubing, looks pretty nice

I have mine pulled up tight on my bow sprit, chain looped around the bollard and a S/S quick release link attached back to the anchor shackle.
I also made a rubber bib,, that protects the glass bow sprit from anchor, and chain damage.
Works alright for transport on the road as well, Haven't used the in built anchor well for years now.
I would post a picture, but buggered if I can get me head around that stuff, can email it though.

Get an anchor yanka (or equivalent) and store it in a milk crate (you have legally purchased) on the deck.
