called into ##### ### ###### 2day for some 25% off lures with a mate of mine and while he was looking at some shirts i had a browse in the reel cabinet as ya do ;) and there it was front and centre , a now out of production unable to order penn liveliner 5600 with the big cardboard tag on it saying "LAST ONE IN STOCK MUST GO AT $125" .now these reels aren,t very well publicised and i don't know why they are going out of production but i recently purchased one and spooled it with 250meters of 50lb sufix performance and put it to use on rhys's boat out at murphys and fell in love with it as did rhys , hodgie and birdy , floating pillies back into snapper and small reds . i have never used such a smooth , balanced baitrunner type reel and the other guys were of the same opinion as the comments came thick and fast as the liveliner was lowering the baits on auto whilst allowing me to fish sp's on another rod at the same time (talk about best of both worlds).
i have only seen 1 other in the 4600 size at a shop in morayfield and it had a tag of $299 on it , so to see 1 for that price you can only guess who's shed it's in 2night.;D ;D ;D
this was lifted from the US site
