G'day Ausfishers..
Long time since my last post- haven't been out for months but I am planning a Sunday morning return to the bay.
I was reading the Notices to Marniners on brownies coastwatch to see if they had removed that vessel that sunk off green island (they have) and stumbled across a notice about the dredging activities at newport which stated that all dredged matter was to be shipped by barge and dumped on the mud island spoil grounds. Surely this would stir up the fishing in that area? I have read in one of the fishing mags that the dredging that was going on at the mouth of the brizzy a few months back was turning the fish off the chew.
What do you guys think??
Would the dumping of this stuff (probably sand ect) stir up the fishing on the spoil grounds or turn the fish off the chew? Either way i'll give it a go on sunday and let you all know how i fare.

Tight lines.

p.s did anyone fish that sunken vessel for the few weeks it was there? Did it produce any fish??
