Calstar Based Rods

I've got a Saltiga 6500 Exp which I use for jigging but also want a rod for spinng with. I noticed a store based on the Sunny Coast sells Gary Howard Custom rods which are based on Calstar Graphfighter blanks. Specs are I think 7'6 and 15 -24 kg all Fuji components etc. I was wondering if any one has used these or something similar they could recommend. I think the rods retail for a tad under $400.

I can personally vouch for Calstar blanks. They produce some great blanks for spinning.

I personally haven't used a Gary Howard build, but i believe they are quality.
