Fishing Brissie River???

Gday Fellas
Am new to fishing the Brissie and just wanted some basic pointers to get started. Living on the northside would pinkenba be the best spot to launch if fishing the areas btween the gateway and the mouth. I tend to use a fifty-fifty combination of bait and placcies so where could i buy some decent dead bait for my outing; pillies, whitebait and mullet. Also what are some general areas that may be worth a shot, are the gateway bridge and the mouth a good option??/

Know a few guys who have had their cars broken into at Pinkenba whilst they have been fishing at night, But they could be one off incidents.
