fished around cleveland on tuesday 20/2/07. Caught wobbegongs and catfish on fresh marinated mullet fillets. Some small sweeties and a couple of bustoffs from suspected sweeties in the shallows, need to fish heavier in future. Bait of the day was fresh cuttlefish heads. Headed to NW peel and caught small S#!t. Had a good run which took 150m of 15lb and bust off agn. 10 nice sandies as keepers, all caught in ten feet of water.

A lot of the crabs were +/- 5mm of legal size? Is this common and are there areas that produce the larger crabs.

What depth do people fish for grass sweetlip in and what rigs,lb line and baits are most successful? Would appreciate a different view of things. THNX

12 LB with a 25 lb leader little to no lead. 4ft to 15 ft of water. half pillies or squid. 2/0 hook running sinker to hook. good luck there are some stompers out there at the moment. dont forget to get them off the bottom asap
