Heading out this Saturday around 4:00am into the mid-lower bay regions - Peel, Goat Islands, Rous & Rainbow Channels - to chase some macks. Not sure where we're departing from, maybe Wynnum. I'll have Snasman onboard and hopefully Clone Trooper - if I can get hold of him! Brad if you see this gimme a call or pm me.

if you go out, might be better from raby bay round Peel to the rainbow. at least its a shorter trip

Cheers Guys :) Yeah I'm still undecided where to launch from but thanks for the Raby bay tip Mike :) I must admit I haven't checked the updated forecast yet but last I did I swear it said conditions were improving with 10 knot winds!! Hmmm...I'd better recheck, ya got me worried now Blue_Escape :/

Sunday maybe be a possibilty, if the weather is crapped out for Saturday but I'll havta check with Snas if he's free then. If the weather is crap I'm still up for a fish in sheltered waters! Snas has got me hooked on sp's now after the mongrel nailed a nice 45cm lizard on a nuclear chicken in the Pine on Monday! Well done matey :)

Hey Mike, would you happen to know the exact address for the ramp at Raby Bay? Also, what would be the call sign of the nearest VMR in that area or authority for logging on & off with? Appreciate any help.

Okay, after looking at the b to b directory I can see only the one, 4 laned ramp located at Cleveland Pt so that's gonna be it!

The ramp you mentioned is it.
VMR are right there at the ramp. Just walk up and log on or do it by radio if your too early for them to be open. I'm sure they have their call sign on the side of the building somewhere.
