Looking into the options for chucks for the rod wrapper that is under construction.
Short of the self aligning chuck from the rod works I was thinking of something a bit more within the budget.
Noticed the soft rod butt method in previous posts - where can I check out these soft caps and what sizes are they available in?
Anyone got any other smart ideas?

for my wrapper chuck, I made my own.
Used a rubber chair leg cap. Screwed that to the motor & use a hose clamp to hold the rod in. Works a treat & cost a couple a bucks
found these on ebay. they are really simple & would be easy to make your own..

The chucks DR has found are so easy to make yourself, I build them with 4 screws. But at that price you are about the same price with the postage as buying all the stuff here. I would go with the ebay guy find out what the postage is shouldn't be more than 5 USD.
