Howdy Folks.
Not the best conditions to hit the bay today but with that new moon Jim and I just had to give it a shot.
First cast at green a 37cm squire comes aboard.
Action hotted up as the day progressed along with the 1 metre swells.
Boy we had some rock and roll but who cares when the fish are on the chew.
3 fish chased with the boat 2 lost and 1 dirty big cattie.
Jim had a snodger snapper bend his hook and escape.
Fish sizes were between 35.5 and 50cms.
Baby bass did the damage
This has got to be our best session so far this year.
Can't wait for the winter run.
Cheers Brent

Nothing wrong with a bit of rock and roll if the fish are on the chew. Makes it all worthwhile and for anyone brave (or silly) enough to get out in it to get a feed deserves to catch a few. Nice work Aquarius.

Great effort Brent! I thought of getting out again today but a sore bum/back from TINN's boat was enough for me to reconsider!
Did you get more at Green or Wello?
Take Care T

T1 both reefs fished about the same.
Funny thing was i had 4 keepers in the esky by 6-30am.
Jim got most of his fish after high tide.
Both using similiar rigs and plastics.
Mate theres some serious snapper out there ready to test out your gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done. There are some big fish around. I gave it a miss due to the weather as it started to rain about 4am.

Top stuff there Brent (and Jim).. you're putting the rest of us (me especially) gutless wonders/ fair-weather fishos to shame;D:P Have to get out there and brave it sometime soon. Got myself an Egrell s10 - so pretty keen to give it a work out!! Top stuff and thanx for the encouragement;)...
Hey T... when are we going???

Nice work aquarius, a bag out well done!! That area is certainly producing at the moment, conditions looked very similar to Friday aswell - agree with you though when the fish are biting you can tolerate getting smacked around a bit!
Well done
Mick
