Here is a pic of a diamond trevally that I caught on the Gold Coast on the Broadwater (under the bridge). The fish weighed approximately 1.5 kg and was 45 cm. It put up a good fight. It ended up as sashimi for lunch.

Good fish, how'd you catch him? They put up a great fight for their weight, very skinny fish.

I used herring for bait.
I caught it drifting under the bridge in the morning at the change of tides.
Their bodies are built like bulldozers.

Love the silvers in one of those photos. Some fish sure look better than others.
