G'day, I know that when things are new like the new chatboards that there will always be new and different things that take a bit of getting used to. I love the new boards but just wanted to ask or possibly suggest something about the thumbnails. When we click on the thumbnails to get a larger view of the pic is it possible to have it open in a new window that can be easily closed off? The reason I am asking this is that most websites/forums are like this and purely out of habit I have been clicking the little cross to close the photo and as a result close off the whole page. Clicking the "BACK' button took some getting used to to return back to the thread. Not sure if anyone else thinks it to be a good idea but if not it doesn't matter. Still love the site. :)

The problem with the attachments opening in a new window is that most people these days have popup blockers.
This will stop the new window being opened unless they know how to set it to allow popups on certain sites. So you will see that a lot of sites are changing to not open attachments in a new window now days.
But if the majority prefer it I can soon set it up to do it.

Thanks for the reply Steve. Yes I do understand all too well about blocking pop-ups but as you say it can easily be allowed by the pop-up program. I have a pop-up blocker but just enable the sites I want to allow. Was just a suggestion. If it stays the way it is that's cool. I'll get used to it. :)
Cheers,
