:D Fished Hinze late Sunday arvy with my Daughter Candy.
I had high hopes but it started out baddly.
i forgot to charge the batteries from last trip.
and had a problem with the wireing on my old tiller elecie.
but we still got to where i wanted to fish .
the Bass were slow and we decided to head for the ramp and see what we could get on the way home.
I stoped in a little Bay looking for warmer water and Candy and I heard a surface smash. i could see where it was by candy pointed and i cast.
Nothing at first but before it ( my lure ) made it half way back to the boat i was on.
Bass was my first thought .
but not a Bass fight.
then my first glimce.
TOGA. YEHA.
4 Years trying to get 1 and get it when the bass are not playing the game.
it was only 41cm but beautiful anyway.
it was allmost upsetting the fact that the hook made it bleed a little.:-[
a few pics and it was away.
i was stoked.
my daughter candy was upset she had'nt caught a fish so for. 4 hours into the trip.
then 3 casts after yetting my first TOGA swim free.
Bang I'm on again. this time i seen the swirl cast wind wind hookup.
and you wouldn't read about it.
Another TOGA bigger than the last. 50cm
it so hard not to yell out yehar . dont want to give away the secret spot do we.
i was stoked again.
time for home.
but Candy needed a fish.
we got 2 more Fish before we hit the ramp. hers being the biggest Bass for the trip
Just unbeleaveable.

Good to see your girl getting a nice bass. The toga look in good health, very nice.

I plan to try hinze soon after i work out Clarie Hall and upper tweed river bass. What was all the noise about the dam wall road access being temporarily blocked for a few weeks.

cheers

i used the ramp with the water at the bottom.
the ramp at the dam wall aparently is getting closed but there going to add more ramps else where.
they are going to clear the trees from the shore line too.
i don't know how far they are going to clear but they should just leave it be.
the dam level isn't going to get there any time soon.
the trees are to grow back before it fills and thats wasted money.
