Got this one yesterday on a worm in the Passage - thought I finally had dinner as it pulled quite hard. After it had been out of the water for a minute or so it started to change colour. I took a quick pic and then put the glove on and released it as I was not sure what it was. Can anyone help with an ID?

Have an Aunty in Singapore who loves eating these things, You can buy them in the fish markets with all their spines cut off. They slice two pockets in the flesh and fill them up with freshly crushed chillis before frying. Don't know if I would risk the spines as I've been done a few times , But they tasted pretty damn good.

Happy moment, but Ive seen them for sale at the local fisho under the name of Black Trevally.
They were swooped on by some asian shoppers, maybe they know something I dont??
Ive been wacked by one once and believe me there was nothing happy about the next 6 hours

cheers
