My 91 V6 Triton refuses to start when it is raining. Have removed the distributor cap and checked for moisture, has spark and all seems OK.

She just won't fire until the sun comes out, go figure???

No signs of water anywhere under the bonnet and there are no leaks near the ECU.

Any ideas??

Best you park it in a pitch black parking spot somewhere and lift the bonnet.

Then whilst watching closely have someone crank it over.

The ignition will be arcing somewhere for sure.

Funny you should say that Ian, I just picked up a 1994 Diesel GQ Wagon for $3500. So once I get the Triton up and running am going to sell it!

Just advertize it for sale specifying that people can take a test drive during daylight hours only and make sure it isn't raining (for safety reasons of course).:-X ::) ;D
