Hello there
I have been lurking in this forum recently due to the persistant and unrelenting begging of the 4 1/2 year old, "Mumma - I want to go camping!!!!" God only knows where she has got this wonderful idea from but now she also has the 2 1/2 year old in on the begging and I am beginning to think that we might have to go.
As we are in the Redland's area, I am thinking maybe North Stradbroke Island for our maiden trip? Not too far from home and I am trying to con Nanna and Cos' into coming (although I think Nanna has the right idea with wanting a cabin! )
Peter has bought a tent and we "appear" to have most of the necessary equipment?!?! Funny that - I think that someone has been shopping in secret!:-X
I have contacted the tourism office at Cleveland and they recommended Amity Point as probably the best child friendly option on North Straddie.
What do you (being seasoned campers) think???
Somewhere with camping spots, amenities and cabins would be perfect and of course somewhere to put the boat in!:D
Thanks
:) Janine
