Just curious, as other VBulliten boards that I am a member of are not taking as long to load, lately the loading time has trippled compared to the old format. I am on ADSL (all we can get where I am), but it was never this slow a week ago. Any idea's out their?
Cheers.

Yes mate.
Im finding the same thing happening at times.
But with mine the page doesnt load at all.
Just goes round and round untill I get The "server reset message"
Also ..Why do I have to log in on every page I look at.
I login on the main page,, click on a topic and then have to login on the new page if I want to reply..
This new server seems to be worse than the old one.
Using cable broadband

I have been finding the same thing occassionally too. Sometimes the pages don't load up and cannot connect to the server but I put it down to the fact that Ausfish may still be working on it to sort out glitches.

What times are you experiencing this problem?
If you can give me full details I can look into it, info such as "at times" doesn't help me in trying to help you.

Hi Steve, it's rondomly occurring, for instance just to load this thread again took longer than usual and it's 1.33 am.
I have been experiencing the exact same issues that Mowerman stated above, not continiously but enough to start annoying me, when it occurs I have had to go back and try again, refresh hasn't worked.
"But with mine the page doesnt load at all.
Just goes round and round untill I get The "server reset message"
I realise peak hour traffic will cause delays but something dosen't seem right. Seems to be stalling (so to speak).
Will document further timings it occurs if you want and record how long it actually takes for the page to load, maybe others could do the same???
Cheers.

To give further indication, the above post was started at 1.33am and it didn't take 7 mins to type, but it took longer than usual to load. I't is now 1.45 am. Lets see how long this one takes.

Hi Steve the time now is 2.57 (QLD) and I have been online for about an hour. This morning it seems a bit slow to load eg. even though I'm on broardband it seems almost like dial up speed. I'm not having the same problems as the other blokes just slower loading each page

Steve I experienced slowness around 7:30pm last night Monday 29th and then I couldn't even get onto the site. Kept on getting pages saying "Cannot find server." When this happens I normally load up other web pages to check my connection but pages like the BOM load up fine. Will note exact times in the future and let you know.

I have noticed the server being offline at least once a night off late, having to come back to the forum an hour or so later to find it is back up again.
Will take notes of times.

Am aware of the problem last night I had to restart the server.
Will be upgrading the server in a few days, have ordered it so it should be all done within a week, hopefully sooner.
i find it really slow at times as well, or, like at 8.30 this morning i kept getting 'server could not be found' messages.
does the slowness have anything to do with so much 'flash' from all the ads happening on each page??

Have done an upgrade on the server, this should solve some of the problems with server load.
Major server upgrade still pending though. See how things go with this upgrade and will know if it needs to be done sooner rather than later.

21.09 hrs - working alot better, still slightly slower than it should be, but it hasn't done the old 'server could not be located' trick yet.....
