No just saw the school yellowfin , small longtails, millions of mackerel and tiny mac tuna.And pretty receptive to plastics and slugs.

What's the bar like? ive only seen it from a distance and it looked ok for small vessels. Any rule of thumb to go by when crossing?

Mooloolaba is the safest bar ive seen.No dramas at all.A big swell will see waves breaking sideways accros the river mouth though but if its that big i dont think you would want to go out anyway.
