hey fellas
Took some lures for a swim at Lake Cooby and let me say that the action was so good that a spider built a web between the rods :P
In other words we caught nothing but at least it was nice day for it.

hey fellas
yeah thats right, we didn't see anyone catch anyfish at all. We took some shrimp there a week or two ago and all we managed was a fat old catty :-/. Not only could we not catch fish, we also noticed that there were barley any fish on the sounder at all. :( I must say though in the last year or so i have found the fishing at cooby has tapered off a fair bit and going into winter I can't see it improving. Might keep going with Cressy, have had some success there and its coming into my favourite time of the year to fish there, the only problem is that it is normally that cold you have to break the ice off the surface of the dam before you can fish it ;D

Take your lures to Cressy.
Scored some nice bass last week on soft plastics in middle of day. Bass seemed to working the gar into the shallow bays.
"Tin lids" had a ball with the rats on some shrimps as well.
Cheers
