With warm weather already the barra have started to fire at Lake Monduran with a few fish over the 1 metre mark already been landed. The average size is around the 85cm. All the barra caught have been in the shallow bays in around 4-6ft of water and in bays where the water temp is around 23 degrees. The most successful lures have been bombers, B52's and Vipers in gold or silver. Hopefully the southwestly winds won't cool the water down to much and we will be in for a long hard season of pulling out Barra.

G-day Foxie,
A mate and I are heading to Monduran second week in Nov. We have not fished there before but have heard lots of different stories good and bad. Lookin forward to seeing if we can find a couple of meter plus fish to bust us up.
