Brisi River Bass

Hi All,

went for a afternoon fish today for some river bass just noth of Fernvale. I launched near the twin bridges and paddled down the river for 600m or so. Ended up with 3 small bass caught on a 75mm green squidgy and also a predatek spaddler as it got darker .

It was a little overcast with a few light sunshowers. I must one day do a big trip and travel down the river down to Mt crosby weir.

nice fish aaron. does the bris river fish better at nightime than during the day?

Hi Bobby,

I am no expert on the river but at this time of year I would be fishing the afternoon session while the morning are cool. I could see the odd bass rising to feed on insects etc.
Is summer the hot nights and full moon would allow a great night fishing session.
