Just wondering how the dam is firing. both with water level and fishig at the monemt considering going next week.

Out there about 3 weeks ago, locals reckon it is at about 25%, it was the first time I had been there. It looked like it had good usable water in it though. Might be best to go in from the north, over the bitumen though, it should be raining there now if we believe the weather report.
Did not have time to fish myself, but the locals reckoned there have been a few yella's and cod being caught. If it has rained that should bring them on.
PS had a look at the house prices in Texas while I was there, boy was it expensive, near Brisbane prices wanted! NO weekender in Texas for me.....

;)gday brian i fished glenlyon last saturday and regulary, at the moment it is hard fishing theres alot of weed and it is cold, we got one small cod of 52cm for the day.water temps are in the 12 to 15 degrees . but with the full moon now here and a bit of rain it may start to fire up.this place has some awesome cod in it well over a metre long and yellas cattys silvers and so on give it ago as you never no , fished for 4 hours the other month and then caught 2 8 to 10lb cod within 5metres of each other. hope this helps cheers bdowdy. ;)
