2 Sand crabs, uncooked
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
6 cloves garlic, chopped
2 to 3 red chillies, finely diced
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
3 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup water
3 shallots, sliced diagonally into 3cm lengths
* Clean crabs and cut into 3 sections on each side, lightly crack the shells.
* Heat oils in wok, add garlic and white part of shallots.
* Stir fry for 1 minute
* Add sauces and crab, mix well. Add water.
* Cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until crab is bright red and cooked through.
* Toss shallots through crab.
* Serve immediately with steamed rice.
