ShimanoCardiff 100 ?

I'm a recent convert to Shimano baitcasters, but after using my 250 for a while I love it. I've been thinking about a new smaller reel for a while with the contenders being Calcutta 50 or 100 and now the new Cardiff 100. Has anyone got a Cardiff 100? I haven't seen one but have heard that the main reason for the cheaper price is that it has a cast alloy frame not a machined one like the Calcutta. If this is the only difference then I can't see a problem as it is for lighter applications.

Any Clues?
