You could try the classifieds on this page, there are usually a few around. Not sure of your location but you could try (if in the Brisbane area) the 4BC fishing show on Saturdays and Sundays between 5am and 6am. I rang in on Sunday and am now the proud owner of a 18month old but never used Minn Kota 44lb thrust model for $300 and a carton of beer. give it a go. They also have great prizes to win.

The number for the station is 131332. Give them a call between 5 and 6am on Saturday or Sunday. You'll get the girl on the switch, just tell her you are chasing after something fishing related and you'll be put on to Ron and Nugget. They will have a bit of a chat to you and put the add across. Keep listening as they have a competition at present where they give away a marine battery every weekend. That's how I got hold of mine. Good reports and the like also.
