I recently had a cast of a Daiwa Millionaire reel and found it to be so smooth compared to the spinning reels I am used to. I was interested in the Daiwa Millionare M CV x300A or the M CV z 300A. I was wondering about the following:

What is the main difference between the 2 (apart from price)
Would it be suitable for general Estuary and/or surf fishing. I would be targetting bream/flathead but would like to use it for Jewies as well (I have heard they are rated to 10kg but could probably go to 20 if using braid?).
What is a good rod combination to go with this in the 10-15 Kg range for boat fishing targetting Jewfish?
Are they overrated? (I have heard quite few people rave about them)
Are they a good model as I have also heard some are great and some are not so great?

Any answers from someone with prior knowledge of these reels would be appreciated

I have had one of these and they are a great reel the differance between the cvz and cvx is 3 bb and colour the extra bb are only on the retrieve for price go with the cvx I have the cvz with 30lb braid and have got bream to 4ft sea turtles. I have just sold my cvz I wanted something a bit tuffer so I got a penn 965 if you want to spend the money the strudwick 10-12kg baitcaster goes well with them

1 have the cvx 300 253 and a 203s and personaly i think it is the best reel i have ever used even better than my shimano calas whitch i sold after bying my first one of these reels. i use 50lb braid on the 300 and have caught fish to 12kg on it with no problem at all. the 300 would cast the small lewers for estury fishing with a little difficulty but would be much two heavy to get any kind of a fight out of a flathead

Not 100% sure, but I also think that (apart from the bearings) #the body material from the CVX to the CVZ might be different.
Good drags on the straight out of the box.
