Can anyone give me the low down on "Sarca" anchors?
Been getting mixed reviews, but I'd really like some advice from anyone who's actually owned one for a while.
Thanks in advance

Don't own one and won't have any type of slip ring type anchor on the boat.
Cheers, Kerry.

Thanks Kerry,
I've had a few people say that, but I've also had people
who swear by 'em. ??? Can you elaborate any more?
I really don't want to spend the extra $'s on something that may be no better than I already have (in fact may be worse)
thanks

Well I have this thing about anchors being fixed at one end and make sure it stays at that one end and not able to turn turtle back down the shaft by whatever mechanism. I want no chance what so ever of an anchor letting go due to "principles in design".
It's all about making sure ones boat is in the same place where one left it. These types of anchors might be all right as a lunch pick but just by being on the boat there's always that chance that one will use them when one really shouldn't be using them.
Cheers, Kerry.
